Connect YourCrow to Claude

YourCrow runs a read-only MCP server. Point an AI client at it and ask for a page scan, a score, or the fixes that matter most.

Free: add a custom connector

The free public scanner needs no account and no key. In Claude, add a custom connector and use the server URL:

/mcp

That address is the site you are viewing now. When YourCrow is published, the server lives at your deployed domain followed by /mcp.

Access without an API key

  • 3 fresh scans per IP address in a rolling 24 hours. The allowance is shared with the public page scanner on this site.
  • Results for a page already scanned in the last 7 days come from the cache and are free.
  • Every free scan returns a link to a public result page you can open and share.

API keys for clients that support headers

Signed-in customers can create API keys in Settings, API keys. A key is sent as an Authorization: Bearer header, so it only works with MCP clients that let you set custom headers on a remote server. We have not verified that Claude's connector screen accepts a raw Bearer key, so check what your client supports before relying on it.

  • Only keyed calls can set force_refresh to skip the 7-day cache. These scans are charged against your key's daily limit.
  • Keyed results link to the full report in the YourCrow app.
  • A key is shown once when you create it. Revoke it from Settings at any time.

What the tools can and cannot do

  • Every tool is read-only. Nothing is edited, published, or deleted.
  • Scores cover the general checks only, using rubric general-40-v1.3. A result marked partial lists the checks that could not be assessed.
  • Private and admin data is never exposed through MCP.
