Use YourCrow inside Claude
Ask Claude to scan a landing page and you get a Crow score, the evidence behind it and the fixes to make first, without leaving the conversation. Claude can also explain any check and look for leftover template copy.
How it works
YourCrow runs an MCP server. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets an AI tool call outside tools on your behalf. You add YourCrow to Claude as a custom remote connector, and Claude can then call six read-only YourCrow tools when your request needs them.
The tools only scan and read results. They do not create, edit or publish pages on your site or in your Crow account.
The six tools
Scan a page
scan_page
Scans a page with the General scoring engine and returns the score, evidence, categories, deductions, skipped checks, whether the result is partial, the top 3 fixes, a scan id and a result link. A current cached result is reused. force_refresh needs an API key.
Inputs: url, force_refresh (optional)
Open a saved scan
get_scan
Fetches a saved result. Free scans use the complete scan id returned by the tool, including its access token, while access remains valid. With an API key you can fetch scans your account owns.
Inputs: scan_id
List your scans
list_scans
Lists your account scan history. Compare results that use the same scoring method.
Inputs: limit 1 to 100 (default 20), url (optional)
See how scoring works
get_rubric
Helps your AI tool explain how the General score works.
Inputs: none
Explain a check
explain_check
Explains what a single check looks for and why it matters.
Inputs: A check reference from your scan
Find template tells
check_template_tells
Looks at the rendered page for candidate template tells: placeholders, vanity metrics and generic copy. These can affect page quality. It is not proof of AI authorship and not a full audit.
Inputs: url
Things you can ask
Scan example.com/demo and tell me the three fixes to make first.
Open that scan again and tell me which checks were skipped.
Show my last 10 scans for https://example.com/pricing.
How is the Crow score worked out?
Explain the check about answering buyer concerns and its suggested fix.
Check https://example.com/demo for template placeholders and generic copy.
Set it up
Add this server address as a custom connector in Claude:
https://yourcrow.com/mcp
Opening that address in a browser shows a short setup message, not the tools themselves. An API key is optional for scans and scoring explanations. You need one for account history and forced refreshes. Step by step instructions are in the setup guide.
Limits and plans
Request rate limits also apply, including when a tool does not use your scan allowance.
Without a key
3 fresh scans per IP address in a rolling 24 hours, shared with the free page scanner. Eligible saved results are reused without using a fresh scan.
With an API key
Create and revoke keys in your Crow account Settings. Keys currently default to 25 scans a day. That limit can be changed by YourCrow and is not a guaranteed plan entitlement. Keyed scans appear in your account history.

What Claude sees
The URL you asked about and what the tool returns: findings, evidence, score and the result link. Anthropic handles your conversation under its own settings and policies.
What YourCrow keeps
Scan results, plus usage records: which tool, which tier, the time, and your account or a hashed IP address. Internal review notes and screenshots are never returned to the AI tool.
A free scan link works like a key to that result. Anyone with it can open the report, so do not share links to private results.
Read our privacy policy and terms.
Which AI tools work
Claude, using a custom remote MCP connector, is the client we built this for. Other AI tools may work if they support remote MCP over Streamable HTTP and the authentication YourCrow uses. We test the server against the MCP protocol. We have not certified it against any specific AI product, so if something does not connect, tell us.
Try it on your own page
Connect YourCrow, then ask Claude to scan the page you care about most.
